This product is Cas9 D10A nickase which is purified from E.coli. Cas9 D10A is a mutation form of Cas9 in which one of active domains is deactived. When Cas9 D10A nickase is recruited to target site, it will only cut one single strand DNA. Companying with two different sgRNA, the nickase produces two cut sites respectively and cause a double strand break.
