This product is the recombinant Streptococcus pyogenes Cas9 mutant purified from E.coli. This mutated spCas9 has extremely low levels of off-target effects. SpCas9-HF1 can be used for gene editing by inducing double-strand breaks in genomic DNA. Combining with guide RNA, spCas9-HF1 targets to specific site of genome and leads to DNA breaks within 3 bases from the NGG PAM.
